ENTRY into the PREP is competitive and based on a written application form, transcripts, letters of reference, past research experience, research interests and career plans. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and may submit formal applications at any time during the year. However, the positions will be filled as suitable applications are received so it is advisable to apply as early as possible. Positions normally begin in the summer.

The application form can be filled out onscreen and saved to be printed or sent via email.

The application is available in two formats:
PDFs of the Application and Faculty Recommendation Form to print and manually enter and mail
Word documents of the Application and Faculty Recommendation Form into which you can directly type and send mail or email.

Save it in the format PREP Last Name, First Name.doc

Print the form.

Send us the printed form and the saved form along with your personal statement, transcripts and 3 letters of reference.

Please direct the faculty who will recommend you to this link to fill out the Faculty Recommendation form to accompany their letter.
